The Baptist Christian Hospital, Tezpur (Registered Society Name: North Bank Baptist Medical Association) is a 130 bedded secondary care hospital in the North eastern state of Assam in India. The hospital is a unit of the Emmanuel Hospital Association, New Delhi.
The hospital was started as a small dispensary in 1952 by the Baptist General Conference and it became a 30-bed hospital in 1954. The School of Nursing was also established in 1954. In October 2004, BCH became an incorporated unit of Emmanuel Hospital Association. Over the last few decades, it has grown into a full-fledged 130-bed hospital and is regarded as a premier institution providing quality health care at an affordable cost. The multispecialty hospital offers services in Internal Medicine, General Surgery, Child health & Neonatology, Orthopedics, Obstetrics & Gynecology, Emergency & Intensive Care, Palliative Care, Dermatology and Urology.
